Inventory cost was $585,000 when they inquired about our service.  Before our sale started they brought in a lot of undesirable slow turning merchandise from their other stores raising the inventory cost to $660,000.  The opening day of our Pre-Showing sales ran over $46,000.  Total reported sales ran over $730,000.  2,417 customers signed up in our customer incentive program.  This program generates customer traffic and stimulates additional sales.  It also helped us hold advertising expenses to 2.6%.  Not only was the sale profitable it cleaned out a lot of undesirable merchandise in their other stores.
