Wingate Sales Solutions is the leading sales organization in North America.  We have a family history of helping storeowners with special promotions and store closing sales since 1916.  Along the way we have helped ten’s of thousands of storeowners stimulate business, close their stores to retire or to rescue their assets. 

We have pioneered, developed, and refined many of the promotional and liquidation methods commonly used today.  We hold copyrights for traffic building and customer participation programs not available to others.  But, the main byproduct is experience!  We know how to handle problems and manage situations.  We know when to take a discount and when to hold prices. We know how much discount it takes to stimulate sales yet maintain the best return possible. We know how and when to advertise to generate the biggest possible response, yet keep advertising expense to a minimum.

The operations of Wingate Sales Solutions are fully integrated in a company-owned building.  The headquarters building was specifically designed to house all client services and promotional materials as well as our mailing services. 

The “WINGATE TEAM”

Garold Wingate President, is a seasoned leader in the sales promotion field having come into the business in 1963 he has years of management and field services experience.  His wife, Diane Brooker Wingate, has been connected with the family business throughout her life.  Her grandfather, C. C. Brooker, founded the Brooker Sales Company in 1916.  Her father, Paul K. Brooker, succeeded C. C. and continued the business for many years.  Two of the Wingate’s four sons, Tim and Mike, now occupy management positions after having served in the field as Consultants.

Dane Whaley coordinates the field operations of our Sale Consultants.  After a stint in the Air Force his resume includes sales at retail and wholesale, and store management prior to opening his own store in 1970.  He joined Wingate in 1986 as a Sale Consultant and conducted 68 sales before coming to our office as Field Operations Director.
      
Tim Wingate Managed a wholesale company for several years and was a store manger.  He also worked as a Sale Consultant prior to coming to the office in 1996.  Today he prepares the Pre-Showing advertising for our sales blending customer lists (when available) and the latest geographic and demographic information available.  It is this combination of old-fashioned personal invitation advertising and the latest in demographics that we depend on to jumpstart our sales.  Tim also coordinates our company advertising.

Mike Wingate was also employed in retail sales and management and worked as a Sale Consultant prior to coming to the office.  Along with other duties Mike manages the company’s finances and payroll to make sure our Sale Consultants are properly compensated for the work they do.   

Our Regional Representatives all served as Consultants for many years before being given a sales area.  Prior to becoming a Consultant they either owned or managed stores.  Most have had twenty years or more experience as Consultants conducting sales.  They have the experience to appraise a store for a sale then put the right sale plan together for the store.  Once the plan is put together he will present it to you for your approval.  There is no pressure or obligation. 

Our consultants are the best in the business. We field calls every week from consultant job applications---Only a few ever become Wingate Consultants. We're choosey about the company we keep! Our Consultants were all former storeowners or managers prior to becoming Wingate Consultants. Many have over twenty years of Consulting experience and a few over thirty years. They are merchandisers, advertisers, managers and above all they are problem solvers and solution finders!  

The Wingate organization is dedicated to providing effective and cost-efficient services.  Our headquarters staff is the support team for the finest Sale Consultants in the industry.
